My name is LiLLi and I am here to help you through mutual support and understanding. You can come in to our support facility and talk with likeminded women that have a similar journey as you. We are not that different and unique from each other that we don’t experience the same challenges and obstacles. This support organization is long coming and greatly needed. The people that you meet here are dedicated to your success and well-being. You will find a wealth of resources and knowledge available to you. I look forward to your friendship and I believe you feel the same way. LiLLi...
My name is Eva. I have spent the last 12 years in the New England area and have recently relocated to Arizona. While I am a distance away from the New England Trans Community now, I have many friends in the local community. I believe it incumbent upon each of us to "pay it forward" and assist others in finding their own little slice of peace and contentment in life. While I may only have the opportunity to meet most of you on-line, I look forward to being able to share my experiences with you and to openly and honestly answer any of your questions or concerns. Sharing and leaning on each other is how we get through the challenge that most people around us never face, that is to look in the mirror and define who they are. If my experiences and the stories of other transwomen can assist you in any way, I offer them to you as a reminder that you are not alone. Eva...
Welcome to NETA, my name is Tori Anna. I have lived in the New England region my entire life and I am proud to be a peer facilitator for North East Transwomens Alliance. I came out to the world as a woman in February of 2009. However, I have fought with this internally since I knew there was a difference between boys and girls at the age of 4 or 5. Anyone who has the misfortune of growing up in the wrong body can relate to this torment. For those who have not experienced this, transitioning is a difficult process of dealing with very powerful emotions, desires, and needs held in sharp contrast to the social ramifications of admitting to yourself, and the rest of the world that you… were born different, with all that it entails. Then, add in the members of your family, spouse and any children you may have as well as your closest friends and you have the potential for a devastating downward spiral if you do not have their support. In circumstances such as this, the assistance of a trained psychologist or therapist is a must! However, being able to meet and speak with other people who share in your journey is immeasurable! It helps to transition knowing that there are other people out there who share the same challenges as you and that you are not alone. We are all transsexual women here at NETA so we understand what you are going through. I look forward to the chance of meeting and speaking with you, even if you just need to have someone there to listen. “…So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:27 Tori...
